I Love Old Photos.

I really enjoy perusing through old black & white photos. They enable me to journey to a time before my own and partake in a conversation with the occupants. Those people wanted to say something to those that would come after leaving a legacy and a message, even if it was one as simple as "remember me".

Some of my family:

My grandmother on a date.
My great-grandmother, grandmother, and great uncle.
George & Virginia
My grandmother, Virginia, before prom.
Mildred & Clyde
They sure loved that car!

All I have to say:

You must check out this website: www.beards.org

Excerpt- "If you have developed enough facial hair to allow you to grow a beard, then you owe it to yourself to grow it out at least once during your lifetime -- even if only as an experiment."

North American beard

Cold weather beard??
My favorite, pipe-smokin', sun-protected, beard wearer.
Asian beard
South American beard
The progression of the Freudian beard.
The Erb beard

If you are a man, I challenge you to allow God's gift to your face grow for the next 4 weeks without shaving or shaping. Then start shaping according to your liking...maybe you will surprise yourself and LOVE IT!!!

I began growing my beard in 2002 because I read how it was an honor for men in the old testament scriptures to have a beard. I wanted to see what it felt like to have one. I have never turned back. It will for ever be a part of my style and look. Every now and again I shave it for fun (and to surprise my girlfriend), but I always miss it.

I dare you all...try it:]
